A Funny Poem !

A visitor at home.. a slightly strange one - a common lizard, inspired me to write this poem, If i can call it that :)


L I Z Z Y

There's a lizard in my room
dont wanna hit him with a broom

he's lost all hope
and is high on dope..

he's too slow to be true
i wonder what was his brew

spaced or stoic ?
or did he just have a bad childhood ?

he sits in a dark corner
while I brood over his manner

wonder what he's thinkin
cos' his eyes aint blinkin

wonder if he's like the raven
always saying ' never more'

guess I could never say
cos' I aint Edgar Allan Poe !
